So Cold the Dog Won't Poop Outside

You know it's cold outside when you open the back door to let the dog out and he immediately jumps back when the cold air hits him. It's been so bad that he's taken to pooping in the house and then hiding from us in shame. Of course we can't really get mad at him.

On a positive front, I've gotten quite a bit of knitting done recently. Of course I don't remember if I've posted these pics already but it's always nice to look at FOs.
The first hat is for a "Keeping Kids Warm" charity knitting drive. I used some Rowan Big Wool I had in my stash. I love this yarn. It is super soft and knits up beautifully. The second hat was a 3-Kings gift for Luke. It's a "Turn a Square Hat" designed by BrooklynTweed. I used some leftover RYC Cashsoft and some handspun alpaca I purchased in Arcata, CA.
