I really need to finish my baby's Trellis sweater asap. It's not even like he'll get to wear it once he's born, I just feel the need to finish an entire baby sweater. In addition to that ambitious task, I scoured the web for a cute, easy baby hat that he can wear home from the hospital. I had some super soft angora blend in my stash and thought it would be great for a baby cap and booties. I finally settled on a pattern although I'm not thrilled with it. I'll see how it knits up.
In my daily sojourn through the knitting blogosphere I noticed the wrap up of Sockapalooza 4 - Congratulations to all those who participated. I'm really going to make the effort to join the next one. I've only made one pair of socks so far but I've got loads of patterns that I'd love to try and what better motivation than Sockapalooza 5?! If anyone is aware of upcoming secret pal knit projects please let me know.
Ok, I've got 1 hour of knitting time ahead of me.

July 31st was the deadline for Secret Pal 11, I'm not doing it this time but 10 was a lot of fun. Keep an eye out in Nov for SP12 announcements.
